Netstore believes in supporting the community not just passively but by providing free expertise. We encourage our employees to get involved with charitable work and all employees are eligible to one day per quarter, paid leave to work with a charity of their choice (with their managers sign off).
Charitable Work
Netstore is proud to have a close affiliation with the Fredericks Foundation. The Fredericks Foundation was set up to help disadvantaged people establish themselves in business by helping them develop their ideas, providing finance, and giving business support, and mentoring. Fredericks have helped over 450 individuals to start their own business; people who could not get help from any other source. They have moved into sustainable self employment, liberating them as individuals and benefiting the UK economy.
Each year, we give 1% of our profits to the Fredericks Foundation to support the work that the Foundation undertakes. Our employees get involved in Foundation work, and they are also encouraged to take time out to use their skills in support of other charitable causes. Each year, two teams of employees take part in the ‘Hannibal Challenge’ a tough, two day event that traces the footsteps of the great Hannibal, across the Alps.
